AI agents build the order. The buyer pays on your own checkout. This module adds the UCP checkout capability with the discount, fulfillment and order extensions, so any agent that speaks UCP can create a checkout session with live totals.

What it does
Four things to know before you install.
A real checkout session
Create, get, update, complete and cancel — as the UCP spec defines them. The agent sets items, the buyer’s email, a coupon code and a shipping address, and sees live Magento totals.
Your live shipping rates
The agent sends an address and gets your real shipping options for it, cheapest first. Countries outside your allowed list come back as a clear, fixable error.
Handoff, not payment
Complete Checkout returns requires_escalation with a continue_url. The buyer opens it, lands on your normal checkout with everything set, and pays as usual. No card data, no payment handler, no PCI scope.
Orders and signed webhooks
After the order, the platform that created the checkout can read it — shipments, tracking, refunds. If its profile asks for webhooks, the store sends signed updates and retries on failure.
Requires UCP Profile 2.2+, which advertises checkout only when this module is installed. Add UCP Catalog so agents can find the items first.

- Does the agent take payment?
- No. The buyer pays on your own checkout through continue_url.
- Which shipping methods are offered?
- Your live Magento rates for the address the agent sends. Pickup is not offered yet.
- Is it safe to retry calls?
- Yes. Send an Idempotency-Key header. The same key with the same body returns the stored answer.
- Can agents use MCP instead of REST?
- Yes, with UCP Checkout over MCP. It shares the same sessions.
